Reports
WorkPlace EMP provides extensive reporting capabilities
including salary action, benefit tracking, EEO-1, training and turnover. Additionally,
any piece of data within the software can be exported into Word, Excel and CSV file
formats creating virtually limitless abilities to review, compare, and evaluate
any information housed within the system.
Form Completion Tool
The WorkPlace EMP
form completion
tool allows the user to automatically populate any form, letter or application.
- Complete benefit enrollment forms for employees or open enrollment for the entire
company with a mouse click
- Complete new hire and/or termination forms
Alerts
WorkPlace EMP includes fully customizable user specific
notifications of database changes and upcoming dates. An alert can be created for
any field in
WorkPlace EMP. In addition, the user
can filter the alerts by criteria such as date range, category, etc.
- Alerts on performance reviews

- Alerts on invalid social security numbers
- Alerts for expired training
Attendance Tracking
A fully customizable time and attendance module including the management
of leave of absences.

Global Update Tool
The Global Update Tool is a new enhancement in
WorkPlace EMP. With the
WorkPlace
EMP Global Update Tool, users
can easily change any or all of the employees’ information by simply adding data
one time into the update wizard, and the global update feature will add/change employee
records. As with any change made with
WorkPlace EMP, the Audit Trail (see below) will track this information to provide a level of
security and reference.

Audit Trail
Use the
WorkPlace EMP Audit Trail to record all
additions, deletions, and changes made to your provider database. All records are
stored in a separate SQL database that includes a purge function. The
WorkPlace EMP Audit Trail keeps track of:
- Exact time and date of transaction
- Which employee's information was added/deleted/changed
- The user that made the changes
- The field that was changed with old and new data
- Advanced filtering capabilities
- Global and screen/employee level access
- Export function
- Customizable reporting
Data Export Tool
The
WorkPlace EMP Data Export Tool allows you to
export data from
WorkPlace
EMP's SQL database into
Microsoft Office documents – such as Word, Excel, as well as flat files including
comma-separated values or CSV. Requires Office 2000 or higher. Some uses of the
Data Export Tool are:
- Export terminated employee data
- Create custom reports
- Form letter templates
User Defined Fields
User defined fields allow the user to track additional information specific to their
company. The data captured in user defined fields can be exported to any form or
applications using the form completion or data export tool.
